Tropical Storm Andrea
Since the beginning of the month, the region has experienced its most extreme weather since Hurricane Sandy slammed into our coastline last October.
Andrea was downgraded to a post-tropical cyclone today, but not before dumping copious amounts of rainfall on the area.
Tropical Storm Andrea is moving into the area, bring with it heavy rain and the potential for flooding.
Tropical Storm Andrea made landfall along Florida’s Big Bend on Thursday around 5:45 p.m. and has gathered forward speed.
Heavy rain accumulations are the main concern with this storm.
Andrea is currently spinning in the Gulf of Mexico about 300 miles southwest of Tampa, Florida.
