Authorities say that 26 people have been indicted for taking part in an international carjacking and theft ring in New Jersey and New York that sent high-end cars to West Africa.
Federal authorities have charged a man with being part of a theft ring that preyed on people who left wallets and purses in their cars at parks, gyms and ball fields all over the Philadelphia area.
Authorities say they’ve arrested four people from Philadelphia in connection with thefts of personal property in the Albany area.
The suspects, 28-year-old Daniel M. Baker, of Collings Lakes, and 30-year-old Antonio Quintero, of Hammonton, reportedly committed the crimes over the past four months.
Police are searching for several suspects in connection with the thefts of over 50 scooters and motorcycles off the streets of Philadelphia.
