A probate judge in West Texas has ordered DNA testing on a man who claims to be the brother of actor Sherman Hemsley.
The embalmed body of actor Sherman Hemsley, who became famous for his role as television’s George Jefferson, will be kept in refrigeration at an El Paso funeral home until a local court rules on the validity of his will.
Sherman Hemsley, known throughout the world as George Jefferson from “The Jeffersons,” died Tuesday, according to TMZ. He was 74.
