Chaput To Announce Fate Of 27 Priests Allegedly Linked To Sex Abuse Scandal

Philadelphia’s Archbishop Charles Chaput is set to appear at a news conference this afternoon to disclose the fate of some of the 27 priests suspended by his predecessor because of allegations of sexual abuse or other misconduct.

Non-Profit Group Shows Support For Children Abused By Priests In Philadelphia

Members of a support group for clergy molestation victims, called ‘SNAP,’ protested outside the Philadelphia Archdiocese headquarters Friday, urging Archbishop Cardinal Rigali to ‘immediately suspend dozens of accused clerics.’
