Shoulder Surgery

Shoulder replacement surgery has been around for decades and a lot has changed in that time. Techniques have greatly improved along with the materials used in the replacement joint. Dr. John Avallone, an Orthopedic Surgeon at St. Mary Medical Center, says those two advancements have made shoulder surgery safer and more effective for patients who would not have been candidates in years past.
