The Philadelphia Corporation for Aging has 18 investigators handling more than 2,000 calls per year.
“The elderly are vulnerable because they’re alone, and a lot of time they’re isolated and they’re looking for some type of interaction,” notes one expert.
Now, thanks to technology, there are tools available to family members concerned that someone may be stealing from or hurting an elderly loved one.
