Police Involved Shooting
Despite the two incidents, Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey says shootings involving police officers are relatively unusual.
The shooting reportedly happened at the Aloft Hotel around 2:37 p.m. on Monday.
Corporal McMann, a four-year veteran of the Del. State Police, was admitted to Christiana Hospital Trauma Center in serious but stable condition, where he has been receiving treatment.
Two officers reportedly discharged their weapons around 9:20 p.m. at Machser and Champlost.
One weapon was recovered at the scene in the 3200 block of North Randolph Street.
Philippe Holland was left in critical condition following the April 22nd shooting, near 51st Street and Baltimore Avenue. The official word from police was that the shooting may have been the result of a “misunderstanding.”

It happened just before 4 p.m. Tuesday at the 6500 block of Castor Avenue.
