Francis Egler, the director of Broadway Philadelphia programming and co-presentation at the Kimmel Center, shared a little background on the Broadway smash-hit musical, “Newsies.”
It’s been over 30 years since “Evita” first appeared on Broadway, and a new production is coming to the Academy of Music beginning June 17th.
Dramatic plays by both well-known playwrights and up-and-coming writers will all be represented by the theater students at universities in the Philadelphia area.
The Broadway blockbuster “Wicked” is back at the Academy of Music with a summer series of performances through August 4th.
