I don’t like it when people think you are homer just because there are no negative things to say. Objectively, the accolades cannot stop pouring in for this Phillies team after they completed a franchise-best 9-1 road trip.

Phillies all-star third baseman Placido Polanco underwent an MRI on Monday which revealed a sports hernia. Polanco will receive a shot on Tuesday and will be reevaluated on Friday.

The Phillies will be without Placido Polanco when they open a three-game series against the Dodgers in Los Angeles on Monday. The All-Star third baseman is back in Philadelphia where he will undergo an MRI on his sore left hip.
