Philly Police Department’s Boat Team Holds Dedication Ceremony For Its New Canoe

There was a traditional Hawaiian blessing for the team’s new OC6, an outrigger canoe which seats six paddlers. The crowd was invited to touch the vessel, and then there was a celebration with fire and hula dancers.

$15,000 Reward Offered In Last Weekend’s Beating Murder in Old City

The City of Philadelphia has posted a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the savage beating death of 23-year-old Kevin Kless early Saturday morning. The Philadelphia FOP added $5,000 more.

Pennsylvania state representative Angel Cruz (D-Phila.) says there are too many unknowns when it comes to even minor traffic accidents, and he wants to make it mandatory that cops respond and investigate.
