Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker or Joel Embiid. Who will go first in the 2014 NBA draft? That’s the question everyone is asking on the morning after the NBA draft lottery.
According to a report, the Cleveland Cavaliers are targeting center Joel Embiid with the first overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft.
The Sixers may have regained new relevance Tuesday night, when they drew the third overall pick in the NBA Draft Lottery, behind Milwaukee and the Cleveland, which drew the No. 1 pick for the third time in the last four years. The Sixers will also have the 10th overall pick, via New Orleans in the Jrue Holiday deal.
The question is, who will that fan be?
Word on the street is that the big cheeses at the NCAA and NBA have agreed on a new age requirement for playing pro ball. NBA commissioner Adam Silver, who really doesn’t need the NCAA’s approval, is increasingly vocal on the matter.
