Details Announced For Constitution Center Show Outlining 50 Years of Gay Rights Efforts in Philadelphia

Titled “Speaking Out for Equality: The Constitution, Gay Rights, and the Supreme Court,” the exhibit will showcase artifacts, photographs, and legal precedents that tell the story of the gay civil rights movement.

A new exhibit opens Friday at the National Museum of Jewish American History that showcases the work of a children’s author and illustrator most known for breaking a color barrier in children’s literature.

New American Citizens Sworn In at Jewish History Museum, On Independence Mall

Forty-seven people, representing 29 countries, stood to take the oath of citizenship, renouncing allegiance to their former homelands, embracing America as their own.
