If Kelly is a master of preparation, which he seems to suggest he is, then the Eagles will find a way to fly by the next few weeks without much problem with a shuffled offensive line. This will be easier said than done. The Eagles managed to get by Jacksonville with some concerns on the line. With Indianapolis, Washington and San Francisco coming up, the margin for error may not be great.
Rookie safety Earl Wollf is listed as doubtful for this weekend’s road game. Veteran corner backs Brandon Boykin (hip) and Cary Williams (hamstring) are officially listed as probable for this weekend’s match-up, so the Eagles should have their starting defensive backs against the Vikings.
For the second straight week the Philadelphia Eagles will be in mostly good health, but rookie safety Earl Wolff will once again be out of action. The young rising defensive player in the Eagles secondary will be sidelined for the second straight game with a knee injury.
Where the Eagles go from here is a question that will be asked plenty on sports radio this week. While the defense does seem to be coming together and playing well on a more regular basis, the offense continues to flounder.
