New Mural Arts Project Will Stimulate, Celebrate Philadelphia’s Workforce

Citizens Bank has donated $200,000 to the project, called “How We Fish,” which reflects the old saying, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

New South Philadelphia Mural Honors Local Girl Killed Tragically In 2005

The new mural, called “The Faces That Shape Us,” covers the east and west walls surrounding Uncle David’s Universal Playground, at 15th and Catherine Streets.

Philadelphians Urged To Tour City’s African-American Murals

A tour of 47 murals that tell the African-American experience in Philadelphia has been launched and will be under way this weekend.
