The Temple Owls are on a roll. “I was happy for our guards,” coach Fran Dunphy said of Saturday’s rout of St. Joe’s.
The Owls got a lot of good news on Saturday. First they beat Maryland 73-60 at the Palestra to improve to 13-5. Secondly, they got Michael Eric back, as he returned to game action for the first time in two months after being sidelined by a patella injury to his right knee.
The Temple Owls sit at 7-3 as they prepare to return to the court on Wednesday night, hosting Buffalo at the Liacouras Center.
The Owls have a few days off before heading down to Texas to play the Longhorns on Saturday in Austin, and Rice on Monday in Houston.
Tipoff is set for 7:00pm Wednesday night in Toledo, Ohio.
