Marriage Equality Advocates Cautiously Optimistic As Same-Sex Marriage Arguments Head To US Supreme Court

In the 1990s more than two dozen states had laws banning gay marriage. Today, that number is at 13, with 36 states plus the District of Columbia passing laws or instituting court orders making marriage equality the law of the land.
