Philadelphia Zoo Marks Birthday Week For Its One-Year-Old Cats

Zoo visitors sang to the birthday boys — first for Lucha, a jaguar cub, and then for Dian, a snow leopard, both born at the Philadelphia Zoo, less than a week apart, last year.

The Philadelphia Zoo’s new baby jaguar, born June 3rd to Kanga and Jutai, is a boy and his name is Lucha (pictured), which means fight in Spanish.
