A Peco spokesman reports power went out Tuesday morning, shortly after 11:15am.
“It’s a slow process,” notes Lower Makefield police chief Kenneth Coluzzi. “We still have a little over a hundred residents out of power.”
Officials say the river was 65-percent blocked by 1-2 foot chunks of ice on Wednesday, leading to a seven-foot rise in the river level.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia on Thursday begins hearing appeals from those schools trying to stave off closure.
