Federal authorities are going after a Philadelphia-based farm labor contractor who allegedly failed to pay its temporary help the minimum wage for work performed at a nursery in Burlington County, New Jersey.
The state Labor Department has saved over $150 million over the last year and a half mostly by cross checking those getting new jobs with the current file of beneficiaries to avoid double dipping.
Jobs numbers released by the Labor Department aren’t helping folks feel hopeful about the economy.
