A cold front is slowly moving away from our area, dry, but cool air is moving in.
The rain will be heaviest between 10am and 4pm, and end from west to east between 4pm and 8pm.
Steady rain will arrive Friday, as a slow moving cold front (from the west) combines with tropical moisture riding northward along the east coast.
Warm air stays in place Tuesday, but a frontal boundary will back into our area from the Northeast, bringing more clouds and a possible shower or storm.
Once we warm up, temperatures will stay there through the weekend and into early next week.
The road to summer-like warmth begins Wednesday. Clouds will increase from the southwest, as a warmer air mass approaches.
For those lacing up for the Broad Street Run, Sunday morning will be partly sunny, the start-time temperature, 55 degrees!
Friday will be a beauty, with plenty of sunshine and a high around 70 degrees.
Showers will end by dawn and skies will clear quickly, providing a sunny start to Saturday.
In our far Northern and Western Suburbs and the Lehigh Valley, a Freeze Warning is in effect until 8am Friday.
As a strong cold front approaches from the west, rain will spread across our area.
