Barnes Foundation To Exhibit 21 Of Cézanne’s Still Lifes

The Barnes Foundation has gathered 21 of Cézanne’s still lifes, from its own collection and from museums all over the world, in an exhibit titled “The World Is an Apple.”

Positively Philadelphia: Cézanne, Showcased at the Barnes

Apples and human skulls (!) are featured in the still lifes of Paul Cézanne, in a new exhibition opening June 22nd at the Barnes Foundation.

Barnes Museum Brings In a New Artist, Contemporary Albeit Temporary

Beginning May 4th and running though Labor Day, the Barnes will host its first solo exhibit of contemporary art, and the first outside show in 90 years.
