A signing ceremony was held today in Terminal ‘A’ of Philadelphia International Airport, resolving years of friction between the city, which owns and operates the airport, and its municipal neighbors.
“Anyone with common sense sees that the gaming industry has changed wholly over this last year,” said councilman John McBlain.
It was a hard fought, expensive campaign, and Election Night proved equally grueling as the results swung back and forth.
Delaware and Montgomery county officials pooled resources to pay for the damages and repairs to a Delaware County home invaded in July by a SWAT team looking for a man suspected of multiple murders. Most of the money has been dispersed and officials hope to put the matter to rest by the end of the year.
