Investigators say a stray bullet hit the woman in the face from nearly a block away. Investigators think the gunman was aiming at a car passing by.

Homicide Captain: Suspects Were Arrested Because Community Came Forward

In the past few weeks, Philadelphia Police have been able to identify and arrest suspects in two homicide cases involving young children. Investigators give credit to community members who weren’t afraid to talk, and they’re hoping that cooperation continues.
