The community is coming together to support the families displaced by the three-alarm fire in Southwest Philadelphia on Saturday that claimed five homes, as well as the lives of four young children.

Commissioner Derrick Sawyer says fire fighters were called to the 6500 block of Gesner Street at 2:45 a.m. Saturday and found the blaze had already spread.
