It would be an understatement to say that the last couple of years have been forgettable in Philadelphia sports. Bryzgalov and Bynum highlighted the Flyers and Sixers timelines for all of the wrong reasons, the Eagles fell apart to an extent we may have deemed unbelievable five years ago, and the Phillies have gone from the league’s elite, to one of the most questioned front offices in all of baseball.
Of the big four professional sports teams in Philadelphia, the Sixers have had the least playoff success in the last decade. The team has taken steps to try and rebuild a winner over the last few months, but the on-court product in recent years has left a lot to be desired.
Philadelphia is looking to get back into the postseason after missing the playoffs in 2013. The Flyers went 23-22-3 in the lockout-shortened season, only good for tenth in the conference.
