An East Mount Airy man has been acquitted of homicide by vehicle and manslaughter in the death of a police officer who, according to the prosecution’s evidence, drove his bike into the path of the defendant.
It happened shortly before midnight along the 6200 block of Magnolia Street in the East Mount Airy section of the city.
The accident happened just after 8 a.m. in East Mount Airy at Washington Lane and Ardleigh Street.
