Drag Queens Get Apology From Facebook For ‘Real Names Only’ Dustup

Facebook has fulfilled its promise to meet with leaders of the gay and lesbian community after the enforcement of the social media behemoth’s “real names only” policy led to the suspension of several drag queens’ accounts.

This year the drag queens, back for the second year, will be joined by a brand new group of marchers.

2013 Mummers’ Parade Adds Drag Queens To Fancy Brigades

Tim Johnson, a female impersonator who performs under the name “Stella D’oro,” says he was delighted to be asked to be part of the first-ever Mummers’ Drag Brigade.
