Dr. Walter Hofman
The Montgomery County coroner says an Upper Merion infant’s death nearly 20 years ago was not due to natural causes. He testified Wednesday at the trial of a former babysitter accused of murdering the child.
Dr. Walter Hofman says 54-year-old Esther Louis and her 21-year-old son, Richard Guerrier, both of Philadelphia, died of multiple injuries, and he believes they had no way of knowing what was about to happen to them.
The woman is identified as Catherine Kelly, 72, of Spring Mill Avenue in Conshohocken.
