    Philadelphia Zoo Marks Birthday Week For Its One-Year-Old Cats

    Zoo visitors sang to the birthday boys — first for Lucha, a jaguar cub, and then for Dian, a snow leopard, both born at the Philadelphia Zoo, less than a week apart, last year.

    Surgery Successful For Philadelphia Zoo’s Snow Leopard Cubs

    Working with Penn’s School of Veterinary Medicine, zookeepers spent weeks preparing the cubs for the three-hour process, which cuts out a defective portion of the eyelid.
