Mike Vick is still bothered by a hamstring injury that has been nagging him for the last month. The veteran quarterback was limited in practices early in the week but did get in a full practice on Friday. Even if his hamstring stops bothering by Sunday, it should be expected he will serve as nothing more than a back-up quarterback option to Nick Foles.
Where the Eagles go from here is a question that will be asked plenty on sports radio this week. While the defense does seem to be coming together and playing well on a more regular basis, the offense continues to flounder.
Things did not start off well but the Eagles put together the so-called full team effort. The offense started slowly but ended up having a really good game. The defense took their lumps but got past them to do their part as well.
Two games in a row a team from the AFC West flew to Philadelphia off a short week and controlled the Eagles in their home stadium. There was plenty of blame to pass around in this one.
