The National Constitution Center is offering free admission to celebrate Constitution Day on Tuesday.
The web site, “Preserving American Freedom,” presents fifty pivitol documents in American history.
It was 225 years ago, today, when the United States Constitution was adopted by the Constitutional Convention here in Philadelphia. And there are all kinds of events in town to mark the occasion.
The half dozen versions, on display at the Historical Society of Pennsylvania, show the document’s evolution, from a hand-written work-in-progress to the later ones for the delegates and public.
Admission will be free at the National Constitution Center on Friday in celebration of Constitution Day.
