Researchers found that while about 15 percent of all children in Pennsylvania covered by Medicaid receive psychotropic drugs — drugs that work on their brains — about 45 percent of those in foster care do.

New Children’s Hospital Branch in King of Prussia, Pa. is Dedicated

The new, 135,000-square-foot facility will house all the services that CHOP has offered in King of Prussia, including urgent care, but this facility also has an ambulatory surgery center.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services included the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia on a list Tuesday of 35 designated hospitals across the country.
