South Jersey Teen Battling Brain Cancer Receives Courage Award

Katie Bednarek, who is battling brain cancer, graduated Friday night from Cherokee High School. Earlier this week, she received a courage award from county freeholders.

Teen Pianist Competition Winners Perform With ‘Symphony in C’ Orchestra

The appreciative audience of schoolkids at the Scottish Rite Auditorium listened as the orchestra played Camille Saint-Saen’s “Carnival of the Animals,” with two pianos.
