Philadelphia Police are investigating after a man’s body was found in the Delaware River Saturday morning.
According to police, the body was recovered about one mile off shore in the area of Townsends Inlet, Cape May County.
The body was found around 2 p.m. Friday in the 600 block of Lindley Avenue.
Officers responded around 6:17 p.m. Thursday to the 2500 block of N. 11th Street.
An autopsy performed Sunday ruled that the cause of death was strangulation, and the manner of death was a homicide.
