Old City’s Ben Franklin Firehouse, Damaged Last Year By Fire, Reopens After Rebuild

The renovations and upgrades cost approximately $475,000. The building was heavily damaged by fire last September.

Damaged Old City Firehouse May Not Reopen For Another Year

The fire last September, which started in the engine of an ambulance parked in one of the bays, left the Ben Franklin firehouse heavily charred.

Following September Blaze, Phila. Officials Probe Condition of City’s Fire Vehicles
