Police say a man was high on the synthetic stimulant known as bath salts when he was naked and chased a car down the street in central Pennsylvania.
Authorities say they’ve removed some 1,400 packets of synthetic drugs labeled as “bath salts” and similar products from shops on the Wildwood boardwalk.
So-called “bath salts” and certain other synthetic drugs are now illegal in Pennsylvania.
Montgomery County authorities continue to investigate what led a 16-year-old Upper Moreland boy to jump from the third floor of the parking garage at the Willow Grove Mall.
Governor Corbett is expected to sign a long-awaited bill now on its way to his desk that will ban the sale of “bath salts” and other synthetic drugs in Pennsylvania.
Both the state Senate and House have now passed bills banning bath salts and synthetic drugs in Pennsylvania, but there won’t be any bill going to the governor’s desk for now.
