4 Alarm Fire
The fire started in the 300 block of South Olden Avenue, and the flames quickly spread to other buildings.
Nearly 100 residents of a Levittown apartment complex who were displaced by Friday night’s fire may be getting some help, thanks to the American Red Cross and State Representative Frank Farry.
Twelve-year-old Ilijah Rodriguez and his handful of friends were playing outside when the fire broke out in one of the buildings at the Raquet Club Apartments.
Philadelphia firefighters are on the scene of a four-alarm fire that broke out just before 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning at Aramingo and Wakeling Streets in Franksford. There are no reports at this time of any injuries or evacuations.
The Red Cross says more than 100 people were affected in this community, including Arcadia University students, working families and senior citizens. Residents of buildings A, C and D were allowed to return to pick up belongings.
