Reason it’s on the list: The SSR was a retractable hardtop convertible pickup truck. Also, it looked like a hotrod. The nature of hotrods is personal modification, not factory production.

Reason it’s on the list: Many people remarked that it felt like a three-wheeler and handled worse than a go-kart.

4. Multipla (1998 – 2012)

Negatives: Odd styling including extra headlights and small tires


Reason it’s on the list: An extra set of headlights below the bottom corners of the windshield made the Multipla look like a mutated guppy. Simon Cowell once publically described it as looking like it had a disease.

3. Skoda Garde (1981 – 1984)

Reason it’s on the list: A popular joke in the 1980s went: "A man walks into a garage and says, 'Can I have a windscreen wiper for my Skoda?' The attendant replies, 'Yeah, seems like a fair swap!'"

1. Excursion (2000 – 2005)

Parent: Ford
Negatives: Insanely large and powerful
Reason it’s on the list: It weighed 7,000 lbs, measured almost 19 ft. long, stood at 6.5 ft. tall and had over a 10,000-lb. towing capacity. Who would ever need this vehicle? Farmers? Space shuttle towers? Turns out, mostly soccer moms.
