“CBS Evening News” anchor and managing editor Scott Pelley was at Independence Hall in Philadelphia on Thursday to moderate a panel discussion aimed at evoking ideas on how to boost the economy. The panelists, a group of eight leaders from CEOs and entrepreneurs to educators and leaders in public service, shared their thoughts on ways the country can move forward, touching on topics related to unemployment, job creation, education, investment and Wall Street. The taped discussion will air next week beginning Monday, November 7th on the “CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley” which starts at 6:30 p.m. on CBS3.
