“CBS Evening News” anchor and managing editor Scott Pelley was at Independence Hall in Philadelphia on Thursday to moderate a panel discussion aimed at evoking ideas on how to boost the economy.   The panelists, a group of eight leaders from CEOs and entrepreneurs to educators and leaders in public service, shared their thoughts on ways the country can move forward, touching on topics related to unemployment, job creation, education, investment and Wall Street.     I think Scott is a very good newsman. He is newsy, not gossipy, such as other television newscasts. He is very objective and evenminded, unlike the hosts of slanted talkradio of all venues.
