Tejada and Castillo splitting time, with Tejada tigteng the work when he is hitting helps the defense, but where does he bat? Jerry can’t really figure out what a #2 man does in the batting order, he just plugs in the second baseman most of the time. Tejada would hit 8th, but who would bat #2? I would hit Beltran there, but it seems like the Mets are afraid of him kicking and screaming. nice job of pointing out that pcrtheis’ ERA seems to be lower with Nickeas behind the plate CERA by catcher:Nickeas: 3.06;Thole: 4.28;Paulino: 4.44;Similar to how the Mets were with Blanco in 2010.Also Mets records by starting catchers (according to each catcher’s Gamelog page at baseball-reference):Nickeas: 10 wins; 5 losses;Thole: 45 wins; 46 losses;Paulino: 22 wins; 35 losses;Nickeas should be renting a bedroom at Dave Hudgens house during the off-season so that he can at least hit respectively There is no comparison between the 3 catchers when it comes to catching abilities
