Oren Liebermann
Oren Liebermann joined CBS 3 and The CW Philly’s Eyewitness News team as a general assignment reporter in September, 2010.
Previously, Liebermann was a reporter for WAVY-TV, the NBC station in Norfolk, Virginia where he had been on air since August, 2007. While at WAVY, he won a local Emmy Award in the category of General Assignment Report and an Associated Press Award for Best Feature Story.
Liebermann was also a reporter for WBOC-TV in Salisbury, Maryland and the Washington, D.C. reporter for WYOU-TV in the Scranton-Wilkes-Barre market. He began his broadcasting career in radio as a sports reporter for WINA-AM in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Liebermann is a graduate of the University of Virginia where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in informational technology and marketing. He also holds a Masters in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University.
Liebermann was raised in Israel and at the Jersey shore in Wayside, New Jersey near Asbury Park. He is fluent in Hebrew, his first language, and holds dual citizenship in the United States and Israel.
