By Lesley Van Arsdall Now that we’ve all had a week to process the 2013 NFL draft, here are my thoughts…for what it’s worth. The first three picks (OT Lane Johnson, 4th overall; TE Zach [...]
I know the team was a disaster this season, but it wasn’t all his fault.
It may only be the pre-season, but Nick Foles has become a major topic among Eagles fans
Hundreds of people showed up the other day for the Andrew Bynum pep rally …I mean press conference.
The biggest sports news of the day is the extraordinary offer sheet the Flyers have made to Nashville defenseman Shea Weber.
What is wrong with the Phillies? Well, we can’t say “it’s early” anymore. We’re almost half way through the season and I don’t know how much worse it can get.
The Los Angeles Kings are now in the Stanley Cup finals. People call them “Flyers West.” I really don’t know why this bothers me so much.
No matter what happens in game seven tomorrow night, the Sixers have gone farther than anyone thought they would this season.
I somehow knew despite leading for almost three quarters, the Sixers were not going to win Game 1 against the Celtics.
Desperate teams can be the most dangerous teams, and they can also make some pretty bad mistakes. Which is exactly what happened to Pittsburgh yesterday.
After months and months of criticism Flyers goalie Ilya Brizgalov seems to have found himself… or at least found a way to win. And then comes the injury.
Ryan Howard is getting better. He was taking ground balls again for a second straight day without the protective boot he’s been wearing since last month. The real mystery is Utley.
He’s such a likeable guy, has lots of charisma. Still, from the very start of spring training you could see he was in pain. The huge ice pack he wore daily like a uniform.
When you are without your top two defenseman your goalie needs to be perfect, and last night Ilya Bryzgalov was.
