Jon Johnson, 33 years old, has already been a part of Sportsradio 94WIP for 10 years.
Jon joined the team in late 2004, after graduating from Temple University with a degree in broadcasting. In his first two years at WIP, Jon was a producer, and engineer for the Flyers and Sixers.
Over the past eight years, he has been an update anchor and host in the evenings, several days a week. Beginning in 2012, Jon also joined KYW Newsradio 1060 as a weekend sports anchor, and is now the Sixers reporter for the news radio giant, and also covers Phillies and Flyers.
Jon can be heard on either WIP or KYW at some point during the day or night nearly 7 days a week. When not at either station, Jon is at one of the sports complexes, getting the inside info from the players, coaches, and staff, or remodeling houses. Jon is Philly born and raised, and still resides in the area.
For the latest sports info from the WIP newsroom, or Sixers, Phillies and Flyers info, you can join him for his weekly show every Saturday night on Sportsradio 94WIP.
The 22-year-old Sixers rookie joined Jon Johnson on episode 2 of the A View From Inside podcast.
