Jeff Asch
Veteran Philadelphia broadcaster Jeff Asch serves KYW Newsradio as both a news and sports anchor.
Asch joined KYW from WCAU-TV, where he was a sports producer, sports anchor, and sports reporter. Before that, he worked at WCAU Radio as a sports talk show host and sports producer.
Asch also handles public address duties for the Philadelphia Eagles, and for Drexel University men’s and women’s basketball.
Understading the importance of introducing young people to the broadcasting industry, Asch has been an adjunct professor at LaSalle University for 20 years, and an instructor and advisor at Montgomery County Community College for more than a decade.
Asch is a Philadelphia native. He attended Central High School and then Temple University, where he received his BA in communications and theatre.
Jeff and his wife Susan have two sons, David and Michael.
