Very disappointed. They do not repair furnaces. It's all about replacement. Their fast talking technician did nothing but bad mouth my Carrier/Bryant gas furnace. Everything from quality of manufactur to can't get key replacement parts. That put me on alert immediately. Next he said the status codes that indicate what the problem may be can't be trusted. Again, I raise an eyebrow. Make a bad story short. I noticed a constant drip from the condensate drain tube. Reported it to the technician but he shot me down that it was normal. I need heat so the technician, and I use that term generously, called their sales department and set me up with an appointment. Early this morning, I followed the external drain tube line into the furnace. I simply used a thumb and forefinger to squeeze the line repeatedly. I must have dislodged something and 2 quarts of water ran out. My gas furnace is working perfectly. I called Sears because the first service I called, Allpro, simply looked at the furnace and said I needed a replacement. Keep my $76 for the service call Sears. If this is the state of your service organization, you will need it more than me. I consider it a small fee to pay for such an eye opening education. Thank you.
