It’s an Obamanation to all that fought for this country and disrespectful of America.
It is also against the U.S. Flag Code to deface Old Glory, quoting, “The flag should never have placed upon it, nor on any part of it, nor attached to it any mark, insignia, letter, word, figure, design, picture, or drawing of any nature.”

    • Annie

This truyl is an act of defacing the American flag and the individulal displaying the Obama flag should be called to account for his actions, take the flag down and apologize not only for himself for being so stupid and disrespectful, but also apologize for the far left socialistic president that allows this to happen without calling the individual to account for his actions…. only boldly shows Obama’s true feelings re. America… he would like to become dictator of the Socialistic nation he and his brain dead liberals are very quickly turning America into (as we alll know most socialic dictatorship countries display the face of their leaders)..

  • JEANNIE

THIS VIDEO BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES…..

  • Pat

My family has fought in just about every war that our country has been in .I would rip down that flag so fast and punch that idiot in the face he has no idea what our flag stands for .i WOULD NEVER ALLOW OUR FLAG TO EVEN TOUCH THE GROUND let alone put a picture on it’ SEMPER FI

  • Mike

I don’t like seeing the flag disrespected like that but the same people complaining have probably worn an article of clothing that looked like the flag and that is one of the “FLAG”NO-NO’S also. There are other ways to show his support for the President.

    • Ali

Unless an article of clothing you ‘suppose’ other people may have worn is run up a flagpole with them in it, the overreach of that portion of your statement ‘flies’ in the face of reason.

  • jjonesmim

The American Flag should not have ANYONE’S face on it. Dump the Obama Flag. Outraged!!!

    • Becka

      I completely agree with you!!

    • Suz

I totally agree with jjonemim… it is an Obmanation and I AM OFFENDED! Burn ALL fo them!

  • Starr

Every October, CBS 3 and CW Philly take part in lighting the skyline pink in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month. This year, for the month of May, I request and encourage the start of a new tradition – lighting the skyline GREEN in honor of Lyme Disease Awareness Month. This area of the country is endemic, with thousands of people becoming infected each year. This year will be no exception, and possibly worse with such a mild winter. Please help to draw attention to a serious health issue that affects so many.

Regarding the new law on cars having to get around bicyclists in Pennsylvania, I have to admit I didn’t catch the entire news on this tonight but I thought I’d let you know what I see every time and country I’ve experienced in Europe. Over there in western Europe, they have bicycle lanes marked like we show parking spaces along the curbs. There the bicyclists have the right of way and autos know that as long as the bicyclists are in their lane, they must watch out for them. However, in some areas with wide sidewalks, the bike riding lane is marked there. I’m usually in Europe in some fall months and enjoy riding a rented bike there. I think it is safer than in the US!

I would pay off mortgages for people who are in foreclosure and donate to different charities.

  • Trish

What would I do if I played and won the mega lottery. I would set up accounts and trusts for my daughters, and grandchildren, Help out my sisters in PA and GA and brother in Florida, donate to Alzheimers association, Heart associationa and cancer association. Donate to the private non profit I work for, do some remodeling and set up the rest for retirement years. Of course all this is after I work with a financial advisor and pay the taxes.

Atlantic City home owners should not worry about those dunns because as soon as Mother Nature does what she wants with them they will be down. I see it every year in North Wildwood. Seems like the money could be spent more wisely.

  • Joe

The guy was acting like an idiot and Christie called him out on it. What does having been a Navy Seal have to do with it? You would think he would have learned how to act properly. Too bad we don’t have more people in government who will say it like it is rather than package everything in “political correctness”. You go Governor!

  • Peter Hausman

Governor Christie is a bully and has done this before. The Seal should have given him the courtesy to respond but Christie lowered himself by name-calling, far beneath the dignity expected of our Governor. The issue is unfair to the students who expected to get their diploma from Rutgers. If they wanted a degree from Rowan, they would have gone there. If he still insists to do this, the students who are at the University should be grandfathered to receive a Rutgers degree.

  • C.Brice

Governor Christie should be ashamed of himself. His has no sense of decorum or respect for other people. He is a bully. Regardless, of how rude the Nave seal was, he did not deserve to be called an idiot. But that old adage it takes one to know one. And Christie is an Idiot. Happy I don’t live in Jersey.

  • Don & Elaine McCabe

We were at the meeting when the Govenor called the Rutgers student an Idiot. The navy seal/student was completely out of line and would not let the Govenor answer his questions. He behaved, foolishly and was idiotic. We would have liked to have heard the Govenor’s answer but were not given the chance due to the student’s bad behavior. He definitely needed to be excorted out.

  • wayne

im a jersey resident and im ashamed christie is our governor. he’s not fit to tie the seals’ shoes.

    • Don McCabe

A Seal should have behaved better and allowed the Govenor to respond. Seals that we are involved with conduct themseves with dignity. We were at the meeting and this young man was out of line.

      • C.Brice

And Chiristie, should have conducted himself better as well. there is blame to be had across the board.

    • mary

agreed, christie is an idiot, to think there is talk about him for vice president, I think he blew it! He reacted the same way when a resident asked him about what school his children go to, I believe the resonse was “none of your business”. Real jerk, I can’t stand him!!

  • pat

First I am from a military family my own includes 3 son’s in the MARINE CORPS. and that would not give them the right to speak down to the Gov. that way. He will neverbe able to make everyone happy .If that happened to the President it would hace been a whole other story.

  • Kellyanne

Governor Christie is the idiot! He is very rude, obnoxious, and thinks WAY too highly of himself. Being Governor does not mean you can belittle the citizens by name calling, and does not mean that people should “shut up” and listen to you becuase you are “GOVERNOR.” I hope that he loses the respect and votes from many people for his childish actions and words!

  • Faith

What an obnoxious “bully” Gov. Christie is. He has a big nasty attitude , unbefitting a governor. Gov.Christie, you OWE an appology to the gentleman whom you had escorted out of the university merger discussion. I believe you may serve only two terms as governor. How fortunate for the people of New Jersey. For your next job apply to be a bouncer at your local dive. You have no class. Glad I don’t live in N.J.

    • Don McCabe

We do live in NJ and are glad we have a Govenor who is not afriad to make changes for the better with tough choices.

The person who the Govenor called an idiot was not a gentleman. He was way out of line. My husband and I were at the meeting and he would not allow the Govenor to answer questions. The Govenor displayed remarkable restraint.

    • C.Brice

Faith, I agree with you. I am so glad that I do not live in New Jersey, but wish I that residential vote, so I can help vote him out of office.

  • earl

gov christie should not have called him an idioit that give the impression he ended the conversation with a big bang just suppose brown would have responded you are a big fat idioit that would have been big. gov christie was wrong

  • pat

FREEDOM IS WHAT THIS COUNTRY WAS BUILT ON SHOW THAT SIGN ALL OVER PAY FOR YOUR OWN INS .tHIS COUNTRY WANTS GOV.to pay for every thing it seems we have become a freeloaders paridise

  • Stephen

I think that Whitney was without question a great singer, but did not put her life on the line for our Country. Lowering the flag is a tribute that should be reserved for those that have sacrificed for this Great Country of ours, not singers that have made millions as entertainers. The Gov. of New Jersey is a typical politician that our citizens have gotten fed up with, those who will do anything to gain a vote. The Governor, should perhaps have focused on joining the TV program for the Greatest Losers or become a poster child for obesity.

  • Julia

Whitney Houston was a great entertainer, and though she was a native of
our great State of New Jersey, the flag should br flown at half staff for those who have given their life in service and defense of our country.

  • Renee

I believe that flags have been lowered for non-military related deaths and also for other events which may have occurred. This person was a native of NJ and well known throughout the world. Why not? People forget all the good she has done to help others.

  • Kristin

Handwriting analysis – How can I get in touch with a local woman who CBS did a feature piece on that did handwriting analysis? She analyzed the handwriting of Ukee Washington during the broadcast approximately 6 weeks ago

  • Denise

How can I get in touch with “Frank”, the gentleman that remember everything since age six? The man on tonight’s news that has never been in a relationship.

  • John

As a vet, I cannot agree with the Gov. position…No doubt he feels he did the right thing, but he’s lost my vote for good sense.

  • Matt

I believe it was the right decision. Whitney donated all of the money from the first release of the Star Spangle Banner to the troops and their families in the first Iraq war. She donated the money from the second release after 911 to the families of the world trade center disasters. That is patriotic enough for me.

  • Mike

It is NOT against the law….You should have your facts correct before you make a statement.
