The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa Resort is Atlantic City’s newest addition offering world-class hotel accommodations, dining, gaming and entertainment. Since its debut in 2003, the casino-resort has experienced overwhelming popularity and near-capacity occupancy thanks to its extraordinary entertainment, hot nightlife attractions and celebrity chef restaurants.

Located at Renaissance Pointe in the Marina District, the opulence and sophistication is palpable throughout the Borgata. Guests in search of fine dining have a refreshingly diverse selection of restaurants, such as Bobby Flay Steak, known for its southwest style steak and bold dishes; Old Homestead Steak House, an original, classic steak house; SeaBlue, a Michael Mina restaurant offering seasonal fresh fish from all over the world cooked over a wood-burning grill; Wolfgang Puck American Grille, featuring American cuisine; Izakaya, a modern Japanese Pub offering Japanese cuisine; and Fornelleto Cucina & Wine Bar, with robust and authentic Italian cuisine inspired by Southern Italy.

For those looking for casual dining, the Metropolitan has classic, contemporary American foods. The Borgata Buffet offers entrees, snacks and desserts. Bread + Butter serves sandwiches and gourmet beverages, and N.O.W. offers Japanese, Chinese and Korean cuisine. Roma is a café serving thin-crust pizza, handmade pasta and grilled paninis, and located below the casino floor is the Cafeteria, a casual dining spot featuring Tony Luke’s Philly Style Cheese Steaks, Ben & Jerry’s Ice-Cream, Fatburger, Panda Express, Hibachi San and NY’s Villa Pizza.

Ranked 47th on Pollstar’s list of the “Top 100 Worldwide Theatre Venues,” the Borgata’s intimate 2,400-seat event center is hosting some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry this summer, including Miranda Lambert; Paul Simon; Kid Rock; Daryl Hall & John Oates; Earth, Wind & Fire; The Monkees; Rihanna and Peter Frampton.

In addition to concerts, the Borgata’s Music Box theater also presents many comedy shows. This summer, the 1,000 seat Music Box welcomes Jerry Seinfeld, Wanda Sykes, Jay Leno, Jim Gaffigan and Jeffrey Ross.

Nightlife options at the Borgata include: MIXX, a dance club with renowned DJ’s spinning for guests; mur.mur, an intimate nightclub with signature bottle service and celebrity DJ’s; Gypsy Bar, a tequila bar with a rock & roll feel featuring live music; and B Bar, a lounge located in the center of the casino.

The Water Club at Borgata is a 43 story, 800 room boutique hotel that is connected to the casino. Each room has amenities and a stylish design with 400-thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets, his and hers bathrobes and slippers, large bathrooms with granite countertops, glass-enclosed Italian marble showers, Signature Water Club beds custom designed by Sealy, mini-bars, wireless high-speed internet access, an IP Phone, a 40” LCD TV and an iHome Stereo System with iPod docking station.

The Water Club also has three residences modeled after chic, New York-style lofts. The Residence on 34, located on the 34th floor, is a two-bedroom duplex with a grand piano, fireplace and spa room. Residence on 36, located on the 36th floor, is a two-bedroom duplex with a pool table, fireplace and entertainment center. The Residence on 38 is a single-floor suite with one bedroom, a wet bar and a spa room.

The Sunroom, the Water Club’s lobby lounge, is aptly named. Cascading water flows along a curved blue stone wall and into a tranquil reflective pool. At night, the Sunroom becomes a hideaway with intimate seating areas where guests can enjoy drinks set amidst lush landscaping.

Located on the main level of the hotel, The Shoppes at The Water Club include five designer boutiques: Just Cavalli, Hugo Boss, Hearts On Fire, Fixation Handbags and Shoes, and Cameo Apothecary and Gift Shop.

Immersion Spa, located on the 32nd floor, is a globally-inspired sanctuary. With floor-to-ceiling windows, 180-degree ocean views, a 25-yard infinity-edge lap pool and 16 treatment rooms, guests can retreat to this spa in the sky.

Another spa in the Borgata is Spa Toccare, a European-style spa featuring 31 treatment rooms, a full-service hair salon, a gentleman’s barber shop, a pool and garden, and a fully equipped fitness center. Spa Toccare offers a comprehensive selection of health and beauty services including facials, sensual body treatments, hydrotherapy services, supercharged massages, and men’s treatments.

For those looking to gamble, the Borgata has 182 gaming tables, 4,100 slot machines and an 85 table poker room.
