Showboat Atlantic City has a party atmosphere year-round, making its slogan, “where bourbon meets the boardwalk,” ring true. Located just along the beach, this Mardi Gras-themed casino opened in 1986 and has been celebrating ever since!

Showboat is home to the House of Blues, a name known around the world for soulful, southern hospitality. Adorned with folk art, the HOB Music Hall presents over 100 concerts a year and welcomes a variety of artists to perform in its unforgettable setting. The HOB Restaurant offers Southern-inspired cuisine, while the House of Blues’ premier club, The Foundation Room, hosts a fireside lounge, sacred private prayer rooms, dining and live entertainment.

At the Masque Bar, guests can order the coolest drinks–literally! While sipping on a King Big Easy frozen drink, patrons can sit back and enjoy the live entertainment.

For those looking to get the most out of their stay, 12Bar is the place to go with both cocktails and table-top slot machines.

The Spirit Bar, open 24/7, is located in the House of Blues Casino, and is home to Back Stage, a unique party pit with non-stop table action, local bands, DJs and dancers.

Showboat’s restaurant options include both fine and casual dining. Casa di Napoli has a lively atmosphere where guests can experience signature Italian dishes and brick oven pizza, while the Rib & Chophouse serves steaks, chops, chicken and seafood. A separate area of the restaurant, called Oshi, is a modern dining destination that changes its menu daily in order to offer the freshest sushi and sashimi accompanied by a variety of sake.

Casual diners can try a taste of Canal Street and choose from gourmet crepes, pan pizza, healthy salads, sandwiches and dessert at the Canal Street Bread & Sandwich shop, or experience dishes from New Orleans at the French Quarter Buffet. The Mansion Cafe offers Southern comfort for everyone with their breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, and the Royal Noodle House offers authentic Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese noodles, rice and dim-sum dishes. One family-friendly option is chain Johnny Rockets, where juicy hamburgers, classic sandwiches, fresh salads, flavored soda pop and hand-dipped shakes are served—in between choreographed dance numbers by staff members, of course!

Showboat’s casino features 3,540 slot machines, over 80 table games and a state-of-the-art horse racing simulcasting center.

Socialize and swim at Showboat’s seasonal outdoor rooftop pool, with its deck area and chairs for lounging, then head over to the Vive Day Spa and Salon to be pampered. There, guests can enjoy facials, massages, body scrubs, waxing, make up applications and hair and nail services. The on-property fitness center also has a workout room, showers, tanning booths and dressing rooms for guests.

In addition to welcoming human guests, Showboat is now the first pet-friendly casino hotel. The resort recently launched PetStay, a program that allows participating guests and their canines to be greeted with in-room amenities, like food and water bowls, pet treats and biodegradable waste bags, along with information about outdoor relief areas and dog walking routes.

Offering over 1,300 guest rooms, visitors have their choice of a deluxe room with a tiled foyer, Sleep Easy™ beds (one king or two queens), extra seating and a bathroom with amenities, or a premium room styled in a New Orleans décor and including Sleep Easy™ beds (one king or two queens), a modern oversized bathroom, a safe and a flat screen TV.

The House of Blues Studio Suite has a loft-style bedroom with a king-size bed and couch, a premium-stocked bar and granite-embellished bathrooms, all decorated in an eclectic mix of Indian, Asian and Buddhist style. The room also includes a DVD player, surround sound and a flat screen TV.

For those looking for posh accommodations, the Bourbon Tower Suite offers ocean views from both the living room and bedroom. Additionally, the suite has a main bedroom, a bathroom, a formal dining area, a separate living room with a fold-out bed, trendy bamboo flooring and doors separating it from the main bedroom. A full wet bar with a wine chiller, LCD TVs, iPod, Sirius radio and a DVD player completes the picture of luxury.

With restaurants serving up tasty treats, gaming, lively events and a place for your pet, it’s always a party at Showboat Atlantic City!
