We went to Bermuda last summer. We checked out our credit card companies and they all were going to charge us international fees for purchases in Bermuda. However, we had a bank account at TD Bank and by using our debit card in Bermuda we avoided these extra fees. We just had to tell the bank that we would be using the card in Bermuda and the dates we were planning on being there. That way they don’t think someone stolen our card number. When we got home all the charges were just the amount we were quoted in Bermuda. No international fees and it was very easy. Good luck!
